I regularly work with clients to create commissioned artwork. The process starts with a conversation (via email, Skype, phone, or in person) about your ideas, budget, and specifications. I’ll let you know some different price points and together we’ll come up with a plan that will produce a successful piece. One you decide you’d like to move forward, I ask for a 50% deposit to start making your artwork. The remainder is due once you’ve had a chance to approve a final image of your piece.
Most commonly, my clients commission cityscapes, landscapes, or portraits. I’m also open to discussing other ideas, as well, so please don’t hesitate to get in touch. I can work from your reference photos (of a beloved vacation spot, or your favourite view of your hometown, as examples) or my own. For portraits, an in-person session is preferable, but not always logistically feasible. In this case I can work from existing photos or guide you on how to take new ones that will give me the visual information I need to produce a successful piece for you.
