This original mixed-media work is one of a new series exploring our relationships to each other and the world around us. Lately I have been inspired by groups of women, from a small group of close friends who have been supporting me through my husband's illness, to the millions of women who are speaking out for what they believe in worldwide. This piece is ink, watercolor, charcoal, pastel, gesso, pencil, and conte on watercolor paper and measures 30x40cm (12x16in).
